Studying for Science AP Exams

AP Exams are coming up! As we are all struggling to study, we also wanted to share some tips and resources to prepare for AP Exams related to health and medicine. Further, we will share some of our tips for studying for AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and AP Physics.

AP Biology

I took this class (and test) last year, and while the test does cover a lot of content, if you study hard and take the time to memorize and comprehend the topics, you can achieve a 5. To do well on the test, I, and a lot of my friends, took many AP Classroom style tests. You can find these online! The thing about AP Biology is that it is one thing to memorize the content. The most important part, however, is to comprehend it.

The AP Biology questions are based on application. Therefore, it is essential to not just know the course material but to be able to think deeply about it. I included some resources that might help you prepare below!

AP Chemistry

Currently taking AP Chemistry, I think that the difficult part about this test is remembering all of the formulas. To help with this, I would recommend making your own “study guide” of sorts, where you group together all of the different equations and conceptual information you need to know.

Here are some review materials:

AP Physics

For physics, as I have not taken it, I do not have any specific advice. However, I have accumulated some resources that may be helpful to review. Leave a comment if you have any advice on how to best review for AP Physics!

Leave a comment to share any other ways to study for these exams!
